As someone who has an unhealthy attachment to their phone, it is constantly tracking my location. I have my location shared to my other devices, as well as people who are close to me. I purposely chose an Apple computer when I was shopping because I knew it was easy to track it from my phone. I am very forgetful and I have so many horror stories about losing my keys, wallet, etc., and taking days to find it, if I ever find it at all. With my Apple products, I can attach AirTags to these products and be able to see their locations. In my head, if I do not have eyes on something I do not know where it is, so I can sleep better at night knowing I can view the location of my most important belongings. Since always have my phone in my hand, it is easy to see where I am because my phone is easy to track. My mom and sister use this to see where I am when I am driving home, so they do not have to distract me while I am driving. I love this feature because I am see where my suite mates are so I can make sure they are safer, and also so they can bring home food. I think the best use of location technology is to see where my loved ones are, and make sure they get home safe. As much as I like to think it is good that I can see where my things are, I know that it is also very easy for others to see my location as well. If I can see my location on my Apple products, then so can the people at Apple. I'm not sure how much access they have to this information, but I'm sure it can be found quickly.
